The Plot: A multigenerational family of witches, cursed to be loveless for centuries, attempts to break the spell by confronting dark secrets and sacrificing for each other.
The Epic Comeback of the Owens Sisters and Their Cursed Legacy
After 28 years, a sequel to one of America’s most beloved films returns to theaters, focusing on Sally’s two daughters, Kylie and Antonia. For those who may not remember the original film, it was established that any Owens woman who confesses her love to a man faces a tragic fate. Their ancestor, Maria Owens, was burned by love, leading her to cast a spell that prevents any Owens woman from being truly loved due to her own painful experiences.
Fast forward 28 years, Sally has two children with her second husband, who has since passed away. Aware that the curse still looms over her family, Sally attempts to protect her daughters by casting a spell to erase their memories of their magical heritage and powers, ensuring they never discover their true identities. However, her plan backfires when Kylie, in a moment of vulnerability, tells her boyfriend, Gideon, that she loves him and wishes to spend their lives together.
Gideon Succumbs to the Owens Curse
Gideon’s fate takes a devastating turn the very next morning when he suffers a tragic accident that leaves him in a coma. This unforeseen and shocking event shatters Kylie, compelling her to confront her mother about the long-standing curse that has haunted their family for generations. As memories flood back from her childhood, Kylie recalls the chilling stories her mother told her about the dire consequences that love brings to the Owens women.
With her heart heavy and desperation mounting, Kylie becomes determined to save Gideon from this grim fate. She embarks on a quest to delve into the origins of the curse, seeking to uncover its secrets and break its hold on her family. This journey not only tests her resolve but also forces her to confront the painful legacy of love and sacrifice that has defined the Owens lineage. As Kylie navigates the complexities of her family’s history, she sets the stage for a gripping tale filled with emotional turmoil, the power of love, and the relentless pursuit of redemption.
The Enigmatic Chronicles of Raven & Lockland Manor
Jet discovered the Book of Raven, which held the key to breaking the Owens family curse. After learning how to lift the curse, she left a note for Frannie. However, Kylie, desperate to save Gideon, stole the book because her mother had been neither forthcoming nor honest about her witch heritage and the training required for her magical abilities.
Sally’s sister, Gillian, always wanted her nieces to embrace their true heritage and understand their origins. Yet, Sally struggled with the burden of magic, pain, and heartache, having faced these challenges not once, but twice. It became clear that Tom Lockland had his own agenda, orchestrating events that led Kylie to England.
Unprepared and lacking knowledge about her bloodline and magic, Kylie found herself unsure of whom to trust. Tom, driven by revenge, manipulated her trust against her.

I like the takeaway…and I shall use this often…Shenanigans! Live a little. Live a lot. I think we can all use this advice 😉
I agree! You only have ONE life to live, and it should be lived viciously!! Always!!
My only issue with the movie was cosmetic, haha
Smarty pants! Love it!!
It was OK. I did love Kidman’s and Bullock’s chemistry, but she lied… I came to the theatre for magic and heartbreak but it didn’t happen.
LOL! You are SO damn funny that it is NOT even a shame, man!! Lol
