That is where we differ again, my dear boy—this movie was not engaging or enjoyable for me; in fact, it was a one-time watch. They should have stopped at the red door. However, I agree with you when you say that they will damage the insidious reputation if they make another one. They need to box it up and ship it off to the Further and keep it locked away.

Also have to say this is probably one of the better horror films this year. But I don’t see where they can take this franchise any further now. I had a feeling the quality of the films I loved would be diminished in novelty, but I will hold out hope that the previous material’s rich foundation would fertilize something… more. This is my first visit to your corner of the cinemasphere and I LOVE what you’ve created. Let’s catch a screening in Sept. Invite your crew!

I’m not a fan of the previous Insidious movies, but I liked this one better. I hated the ridiculous-looking red man demon in the previous movies. He’s right up there with Annabelle. Neither was scary. The demon cult leader Cyrus in this movie was way better, and I thought the old people creeping around were definitely creepy. I think people should see it and decide for themselves. Just my opinion. I’d never not see a movie because someone didn’t like it. Not trying to be mean. Just my opinion.
