  1. Thank you for sharing. I was entertained, and at the end of the day, that’s all I wanted! It was great to see the cast back together, navigating a fashion industry that has completely shifted into a digital-first world since we last saw them twenty years ago. I loved how they showcased a softer side of Miranda midway through, opening up to Andy while no one else was watching was a cute moment. Then her management style clash with modern HR policies (my field) and the fast-paced digital age was hilarious and gave Miranda a fresh layer of relatability.

IMO it’s a solid sequel that manages to capture the spirit of the original while proving that even the most formidable boss has to evolve eventually.

    1. I sincerely appreciate your consistently comprehensive assessments and your proactive approach to sharing your insights and perspectives. I value your input on my reviews and eagerly anticipate reading them.

  2. Incredible review—and I’m so very lucky to have watched it with you and to be at the premiere. What a fun, fun, unforgettable experience!

  3. This isn’t my usual type of movie. Tbh I only watched the 1st one because I like Mark Strong & Anne Hathaway. I’ll give it a go

    1. Mark Strong was not in the first one—I think you are talking about Stanley Tucci. They both are BOTH bald-headed, and I think that you are confused by the bald heads. LOL

  4. I think in a world of chaos we all live for nostalgia and this was a love letter to us. This is the year of that it seems. Trying to recapture the magic one film has is a very challenging thing but finding that comfort of seeing characters we love come together again and getting to see what they’ve done with their lives is worth it. It will never be the original but at least we get to see how they progressed.

    1. Agree. Miranda had a softer side to her, but if she can be gentle and soft with her husband, why can’t she do that in all aspects of her life?
