The Plot: The most powerful man in the world embarks on a frantic mission to prove he is humanity’s savior before the disaster he’s unleashed destroys everything.
I regret to inform you that I feel compelled to share my thoughts on this film. Initially, I was captivated by the first trailer, which presented Tom Cruise’s latest project wrapped in an enticing, glossy package. However, my excitement quickly dissipated once I actually watched the movie.
While I occasionally indulge in films that may not be critically acclaimed, this particular film was profoundly disappointing. It was not only depressing and sad but also poorly constructed, lacking any coherent narrative.
I strongly advise you to avoid this film if you value your time. It runs for two hours, and I can assure you that it would be a waste of your precious movie-watching moments. If you’re looking for a film to enjoy in theaters, this is not it; instead, you might find yourself wishing for a two-hour nap. In conclusion, steer clear of this one. The End.

We have this booked for Saturday but we are going to cancel. We probably won’t see anything due to timing of other movies we might want to see and my son’s work schedule. Thanks for the review.
My pleasure! U are saving yourselves! Trust me!!
Wow!! That bad, huh??
VERY!
I’ve observed the sharp comments about Digger for about a month; it’s a train wreck you can’t help but watch and then wish to unsee within Tom Cruise’s filmography. I am shocked it could be his first studio failure. Wait! I forgot about The Mummy, Universal’s attempt to kick-start a monster cinematic universe, and Vanilla Sky with Penelope Cruz. Guess I’ll settle for catching it on VOD when I’m bored at home.
Thank you for the heads up.
You’re very much welcome! Don’t dig yourself into an early grave by even seeing it @ home!
It’s stupid and silly, and some will take it too seriously. A dig at politics and its ties to the oil industry, while also pointing out our own dependence, was just funny. No, I am in no way a climate change buff, but I did find the comedy in it.
We agree on some, and then we DISAGREE on some; LOL! I just think that this is plain stupid!
