“I Want Your Sex”—Travis’ Review

The Plot: Elliot lands a job for Erika Tracy as her sexual muse.

Olivia Wilde delivered an incredibly bold and provocative performance in this film. I was genuinely impressed by her ability to command the screen in a movie that held my attention and kept me excited throughout. This film certainly did not lack in that regard, and I am grateful for it, especially considering that many of her projects are low-budget and she often appears in fewer high-profile A-list films than one might expect.

Her character, an artist, portrayed a very intense, erotic, and sexual interpretation of art. When she was first introduced on screen, I couldn’t help but recall a memorable scene from the 2011 film “Horrible Bosses,” particularly the moment with Jennifer Aniston and Charlie Day. In that scene, she was nearly completely naked and provocatively asked him if he felt uncomfortable in any way. This is reminiscent of how Erika approached Elliott in her office, as she proposed a BDSM relationship with him, showcasing her character’s boldness and sexual confidence.

Elliot & Minvera

Elliot was deeply entrenched in what appeared to be a committed relationship with his companion, Minerva. However, she was intensely focused on her studies, determined to graduate, though the specifics of her field of study were never disclosed. If they were mentioned, they must have slipped past me unnoticed. Elliot yearned to nurture their relationship, but Minerva frequently engaged in bickering, highlighting his flaws and acting contrary to the supportive partner he desired. She showed little interest in intimacy, avoiding physical affection and any form of sexual connection. It’s no surprise that Elliot found himself drawn to his boss, Erika, feeling a rush of excitement and arousal at the thought of being her submissive. This film was a raunchy and erotic comedy, reminiscent of the “Fifty Shades” series, featuring bold sexual scenes that showcased both male and female genitalia throughout the narrative.

Very Raunchy … Very Sexually Explicit…but Very Entertaining!!!

The film was undeniably erotic and held my attention throughout. Despite its low budget, it featured two recognizable actors: Mason Gooding and Olivia Wilde. While the movie isn’t stellar, it effectively keeps you engaged, and you’ll find yourself laughing from start to finish if you catch it at a local theater. I was genuinely impressed by the film, particularly Johnny Knoxville’s role as a serious cop, showcasing his versatility beyond the “Jackass” franchise.
