Plot: Follows Sloane (Olivia Holt) and four other students who take shelter in their high school during a zombie outbreak.
This Certainly Was A Test!!!
I say that this film was a test because the movie distribution company wanted to see how successful it would be. Well, I’m here to tell you that THIS MOVIE WAS A TEST OR SIMPLY AN EXPERIMENT, because I didn’t like it at all. It was an absolute waste of time. The only thing that made this movie a horror film was that everyone who became infected was bitten. The bites were all so close up on screen, and the violent way in which the uninfected people were beating them with baseball bats and anything else they could get their hands on was very gruesome, but not over the top. If it wasn’t for that, I couldn’t see any other genre that this film could be classified under.
Sloane
Olivia Holt played an average role in the film, especially given that she was the only well-known actor in the cast besides Luke Macfarlane. The film focused solely on Sloane and her older sister, Lily, and their relationship with their abusive father. To be honest, I felt that this film should have been released directly to streaming services. It didn’t do anything for me, honestly. I have nothing more to say about the subject.
A Perplexed Disaster!
I’ll admit that I’m a sucker for body horror and scary movies in general. However, some prove me wrong and turn out to be good, whereas others confirm my assumptions! To be honest, if you decide to watch it, you may leave the theater or turn off your television. I believe this is the shortest review I have ever written. I do not recommend that you watch this movie. If you believe you will be watching something good or interesting because it is about zombies, you are mistaken. Take heed of my warning…or risk being attacked by zombies. LOL!!!

Saves me the time of going.
Yes – it does, it REALLY does!!!
Yeah I had no desire to see this. Trailer didn’t look good at all.
I am feeling like Dolly will be like this as well! No lie! These ones that do not advertise tend to suck!
This is a bust. It reminded me of a bad version of the netflix show Black Summer.
NO WAY! We agree on 2 in a row! I have to go take my temperature now! LOL
Yes Dolly is distributed by Shudder so it will be a low budget flick but I will go see it. Creepy dolls are the best lol. Most Shudder movies are so bad.
Yeah—you sent me a creepy doll…maybe I will bring him with me???
YES, YOU SHOULD!!! He would love it! LOL!!
Yeah, poor Billy Boy hardly goes on any outings, so ….
WTF is this? Hard pass!
You’ve OBVIOUSLY made the BEST and ONLY decision here!!
That’s too bad, but thanks again for taking one for the rest of us…
Anytime!
Thank you for saving me time. The trailer didn’t make it interesting either!
Were you waiting on me? For my thoughts on it? I actually never even saw ONE single trailer for it all the weeks that I had been going to the movie theater. I literally stumbled across it on IMDB or someone posted it in our “private group.”
I would like to give this film a C-, it didn’t deliver fully on what could have been fun as hell. It was a poor man’s version of “Detention of the Dead” 2012.
Yes—I have to agree; it could have been better or gone directly to streaming services and skipped AMC altogether!
