The film never clarified whether her house-sitting jobs were exclusively for affluent families. Still, it was evident that Anna yearned to embody the glamorous life she had always envisioned for herself, especially after her plans fell apart.
However, Anna’s desire to live this fantasy led her to cross ethical boundaries. She pretended to own luxurious clothing, lavish beds, and expensive cars, using possessions that did not belong to her in an attempt to feel loved, important, and valued.
