The Plot: Corporate executives on a team-building retreat face a deadly struggle when their leader turns violently against them.
3 For The Gore!
I have to assign this review an overall score of 3, primarily due to the film’s impressive, graphic gore. To be completely honest, I initially believed that some of the retreat participants would resist or challenge the authority of the main antagonist, none other than their former CEO, Arthur Scott, the person they had previously worked under. However, to my surprise, they did indeed confront him, but this act of defiance led to severe consequences. They were reprimanded for failing to comply with his demands, as they chose to oppose him, which ultimately resulted in his removal from his powerful position within the company. The narrative of this movie revolves around themes of revenge and retribution, focusing on the employees who had voted against him or wronged him in some way, highlighting the lengths to which he would go to exact his payback.
Lola Price & Amber Garcia
Lola Price and Amber Garcia were pivotal figures in Arthur’s elaborate scheme for revenge against the unsuspecting individuals who believed they were attending a serene retreat to rejuvenate, unwind, and relax. However, the reality was starkly different. The film delivered an intense, gory experience that kept viewers on the edge of their seats, yet I couldn’t shake the feeling that something essential was missing. Perhaps it was the absence of recognizable actors or actresses that contributed to this sensation, as the film was filled with graphic violence from beginning to end.
The script was cleverly crafted, reminiscent of the “Hostel” films, with a darkly engaging execution that drew me in. The kills were not only brutal but also shockingly visceral, presented in a way that left little to the imagination. Lola and Amber, who were instrumental in advancing Arthur’s twisted agenda, appeared brainwashed in a disturbingly warped way, adding layers to their characters.
A Retreat To Definitely Remember!!!
Overall, the movie was undeniably warped and psychotic, yet it managed to captivate uniquely. The combination of intense gore and psychological manipulation created a chilling atmosphere that lingered long after the credits rolled. Despite its flaws, the film succeeded in delivering a memorable experience that explored the depths of revenge and the consequences of betrayal.

Ohhhhh that sounds great!! I love your reviews…graphic and honest …
Thank you for this!!!
