I am still processing this film. While it wasn’t poorly made or excessively slow, I found it to have several plot holes that left me questioning the story. For instance, how did a plant suddenly appear in her neighbor’s yard without any explanation? It felt almost magical and out of place. Additionally, if Greg was secretly delivering pizza, why would he tell his son that his mom dislikes the pizza sign on the car?

The significance of Oak Street also puzzled me. What made it so special that it created a time loop back to the prehistoric era of dinosaurs? How was this phenomenon halted, and what triggered it in the first place? Overall, the film didn’t strike me as particularly remarkable or coherent. It felt more like a comedic take on dinosaurs rather than a serious narrative. I am left wondering what the overall message or purpose of this film was.

Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor showcased impressive performances in their respective roles, bringing depth and nuance to their characters. However, despite their talent, the film struggled to reach the level of enjoyment that many viewers had anticipated. One scene, in particular, emerged as the undeniable climax of the movie, serving as both a pivotal moment in the plot and a peak of comedic brilliance. I won’t give away any spoilers, but I assure you that when you witness it, you’ll find yourself laughing uncontrollably, perhaps even risking a snack spill in the process. This moment is not only side-splittingly funny but also stands out as the true highlight of the film, encapsulating its comedic essence and leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

In conclusion, this movie was a one-time experience for me, and I have no desire to watch it again. It felt like a blend of “Tremors,” “Snakes on a Plane,” and “Anaconda,” all rolled into one. The way the dinosaurs were depicted—eating, killing, and engaging in unexpected antics—was amusing, contrasting sharply with the horrific and suspenseful events of the films I mentioned earlier. Unfortunately, this film fell short of conveying any clear message. While the ending made some sense, I found myself wishing that many of the plot holes had been addressed, as I dislike movies with loose ends, and this one had plenty of them.
